Goldberg To Reportedly Appear At 2017 Royal Rumble

Less than 24 hours removed from his shocking victory at Survivor Series, we now know that Goldberg will be in a match at the Royal Rumble.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Goldberg signed the contract just days ago, agreeing to appear in what will most likely be a main-event match at the January pay-per-view event. Or, could it even be the Rumble itself?

While there are other matches at the event, the highlight of the Royal Rumble broadcast is the 30-man, over-the-top-rope battle royal. The winner of the match has traditionally gone on to challenge for the championship at WrestleMania.

So that’s one possibility. Another that many fans are clamoring for is a ‘Mania match between Goldberg and the returning Undertaker. If that is to be the case, the Rumble match will most likely be a one-on-one with someone else over whom he will have another impressive victory, to help hype the Taker match. (Taker would most likely have a similar match at the Rumble.)

Are you excited to learn that Goldberg’s return isn’t just a one-off? Who do you think he’ll face at the Rumble? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
