Chris Hemsworth was on The Jimmy Kimmel Show earlier this week, promoting his new film, Thor: Ragnarok. While he was there, he made a comment about wanting to play The Riddler for the DC Extended Universe. Actually, it was more of a joke. However, a lot of people would love to see the switch. He was wearing a green velvet jacket when he came out on stage, so his wardrobe was ripe for the banter-making. When asked about it, Hemsworth stated that the jacket was a nod to Loki and Hulk. He then saw an opening for the joke and continued with:…

Spider-Man: Homecoming confused fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in regards to timeline. No one is really sure how it fits with all their pre-existing projects. Kevin Feige has announced that an official timeline will be released by the MCU. The film was Marvel and Sony’s first collaboration together, and no one really knew what they were going to get. However, what no one thought of was how they might mess with the timeline. There was a span of about eight years between The Avengers and Spider-Man: Homecoming, and even Captain America: Civil War doesn’t quite jive either. Spider-Man: Homecoming happens a few years in…

Thor: Ragnarok had its world premiere yesterday in Los Angeles, and all the celebrities involved (and some that weren’t) were there. Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn, made an appearance, and after watching the movie, he took to Facebook to give his thoughts on the film. Was lucky enough to be invited to the Thor: Ragnarok Premiere last night. And I loved it. I sat in the “director’s row” with the Jons (Favreau and Watts) and Captain Marvel’s Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and Favreau and I laughed loudly, perhaps even inappropriately so, at nearly everything Jeff Goldblum did. In fact, I…

Todd McFarlane, creator of the Spawn comics, will begin filming for a reboot in February 2018. In 1997, the first attempt was made by Mark A.Z. Dippé to bring the comic to the big screen. It starred Michael Jai White. The film made back what its estimated budget was by double at the box office, however, a sequel was never made because the profit wasn’t enough to warrant one. The ratings it received didn’t help. Spawn couldn’t make it out of the planning stages for the last twenty years. At first, it was a sequel that was in development, however, as…

Tiffany Epensen, the actress who played one of Peter Parker’s classmates, Cindy, in Spider-Man: Homecoming and was even a part of the Academic Decathlete team, will apparently come back to the role for Avengers: Infinity War. Cindy played a small role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, however, the rumors surrounding her return are huge. She is just plain old Cindy in that film, but there is speculation that she could be Cindy Moon a.k.a Silk. Cindy Moon came onto the scene in 2014 with the Amazing Spider-Man relaunch. It turns out, she was bitten by the same spider that Spider-Man was bitten by. The differences end there,…

Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey didn’t get along behind the scenes of Batman Forever. No one would have ever guessed that because they are such renowned actors. However, they’ve both made statements confirming how awful their time on set was together. Jim Carrey was never quiet about how working with Tommy Lee Jones was twenty years ago. Recently, however, he has gone into further detail about what transpired between the two. He started the story by…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe just had some sad news confirmed, as it’s been revealed that Baby Groot is not the same character as the Groot that died in the first Guardians of the Galaxy – per James Gunn. Guardians of the Galaxy has been a hugely popular film, however, Groot has been a fan favorite. It is decidedly hard to become attached to something as limited in speech and relatability as a tree, but James Gunn has made that happen. When Groot sacrificed himself after the first film, it was definitely a tear-jerking moment. No one thought Marvel would kill off a character…
