Remember when Negan made his first appearance on The Walking Dead, and he made that speech? Die-hard fans who know the comics also know Negan’s entrance was supposed to much harder in words than the show portrayed. Of course, there are limitations on what is allowed to be broadcast on TV. You’ll be happy to know that the Season 6 home release version shows the uncensored cut, f-bombs and all. What could be better than that? The ban on the use of curse words being lifted on FX. That’s right. The spin-off Fear the Walking Dead will be the first to benefit…

Remember the Peter Rabbit book you read as a little kid? Did you ever find it to be really suspenseful? I remember there being some family strife between the sibling rabbits, and that Peter got them into a bit of a bind in the garden. For my young brain, that was a lot to handle. Does this movie look anything like the book? Take a look at the trailer from Yahoo! before I delve into it any further. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds305GErAqI&feature=youtu.be The original story, written by Beatrix Potter, follows an anthropomorphic rabbit who can’t keep out of other people’s vegetable gardens. Written…

This is the working title for both previously mentioned films. It means they are looking for actresses to play female engineers and secretaries in a 1960’s setting. Perhaps some sort of flashback is in the works in Peggy Carter’s era. A scenario…

Wonder Woman single-handedly pulled the DC Extended Universe from the abyss of bad comic book movies. Honest Trailers doesn’t discriminate, however. Screen Junkies released the Honest Trailer, and it was kind yet firm, just like the super hero herself. Wonder Woman will release on DVD and Blu-Ray soon, so the timing is spot on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eef-1HLKgoQ Female led super hero movies haven’t fared well in the past. Catwoman and Elektra are good examples. Studios have been hesitant to pursue another film with a woman at the helm of saving the world from evil. Patty Jenkins didn’t follow the DCEU rules of what they…

GLAAD ambassador from Harlem, Gianna Collier-Pitts, has started a petition to allow Wonder Woman to explore her sexuality in Wonder Woman 2. Since she has started the petition, the number she sets as a goal keeps getting surpassed, so she raises it higher. A lot of people would like to see this happen, it seems. Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka confirmed last year that the champion of women’s rights is actually bisexual. Fans of the comics weren’t surprised, but anyone not familiar with the comics were. LGBTQ+ rights have been in the mainstream media for a few years now, and this…

An F score on movie polling sites is surprisingly hard to achieve. There have only been eleven films to attain that rating since 2004 on CinemaScore. That equals out to less than one a year. Darren Aronofsky’s Mother! is the latest film to enter this exclusive club, making it the twelfth. So how did it do so horribly? One major reason is It was barely released, and movie-goers are more interested in spending their hard-earned money on that film. It has been a highly anticipated film, and Mother! just couldn’t compete. Marketing and content are also to blame. Most people really have…

Bill Skarsgård was born to play Pennywise the Dancing Clown. If you’ve seen IT, you know this. If you haven’t, you need to. He brings new meaning to the words “mesmerizing smile”, and that’s because it’s sinister and oddly pointy. Luckily, you don’t need to have seen the movie to see how he pulls the look off. Skarsgård recently sat down with Conan, and he revealed the smile happens because he brings his bottom lip to a point. He then discusses the origin of it, and surprisingly, it didn’t start with him. “It’s a funny story because my older brother, Gustaf [Skarsgård]……
