Young, British, an aspiring (and prolific) writer. Probably stuck in his room writing some weird, crazy story about a vampire slayer or a cat from space... or something.

Only today, we saw the theory of one dedicated fan citing what the final Easter Egg in Guardians of the Galaxy really is. Recently, Heroes and Villains Fan Fest saw an appearance of some of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast, who indulged a fan’s curiosity concerning their very own theory. The fan firstly wanted to confirm whether or not James Gunn was in attendance (perhaps to avoid a brutal shut-down as received by the fan in our recent article), before diving into his well-rehearsed explanation. He impressively memorized all this: “When Star-Lord is trying to sell the cosmic cube, the infinity stone,…

It’s been almost two years since the DVD & Blu-ray release of Marvel’s smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy. After all that time, despite many eagle-eyed fans’ unsuccessful searching, the final Easter Egg may have been found. The Youtuber Mastertainment, in a recent video, explains his theory that ‘Eternity’, the Marvel Comics cosmic entity, is James Gunn’s thus far undiscovered Guardians of the Galaxy Easter Egg. It’s claimed that the Egg can be found in the scene where, having grabbed the infinity stone, Star Lord sees his mother in a hallucination. The Youtuber explains that his previous theory was “shot the…

The announcement came only last week that Marvel would introduce ‘The Inhumans’ in their own eight-episode series, with the first two episodes premiering in theaters. As The Hollywood Reporter has discovered, Marvel Television, IMAX and ABC have formed a partnership to bring us the first two episodes of the upcoming show in 1,000 IMAX theatres across 74 countries. The Inhumans IMAX event will last for two weeks, beginning on Labor Day 2017,…

I’ve decided to begin my journey of Marvel film reviews with this movie, because it was the film that brought me into this universe. I was young and oblivious to Marvel’s plans for phase 1, until word came around that an Avengers film was to come that year. Of course, I studied up, watching all the necessary stand-alone films and learning about each and every character. Once the film hit the screens and had been showing for a week, I had already seen it three times (and would have happily made that four, if it weren’t for my embarrassing financial…

An as of yet unnoticed ‘Easter Egg’ in Suicide Squad has been spotted by a seemingly dedicated viewer. The name ‘Falcone’ is just about visible on a wide shot of Gotham city, lit up on the top of a building. Gotham and Batman comic book readers will recognize this name as the surname of organised crime figure Carmine Falcone. Falcone is a significant player in Gotham’s organised crime, and viewers of Gotham will have seen this demonstrated. This is not the first time DC have inserted Easter Eggs onto their skylines by name dropping companies and other references to the comics. Man of Steel gave us…

As Spider-Man: Homecoming is edging its way round the corner, it is becoming more evident that it will be very different from what we’ve seen from Marvel so far. That is largely down to its reliance on a fairly young cast. Granted, it’s got big names attached to it already, but we’re seeing some fresh talent emerging and stepping into some significant roles. Recently, it has been revealed that Jacob Batalon, a previously unknown Hawaiian actor, is playing Ned Leeds in the movie. Jacob Batalon spilled this information himself in an interview with the news channel KHON2 in which he…
