Earlier tonight, the first real look at the upcoming Venom movie was revealed, and we got our first glimpse at Tom Hardy’s Venom. Now, the trailer for the film has leaked, and it definitely looks interesting. The thing that worries me, though, is that the trailer seems to line up with a report from last month that said there wouldn’t actually be much Venom in the film. We’ll have those details for you below, but check out the trailer first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W53EMavRWyA The movie looks pretty good, but as we said before, it could line up with what was initially reported…

Earlier tonight, we were given the first look at Venom from the upcoming Venom movie courtesy of some leaked footage from CinemaCon. Pretty much all of the comments that I’ve seen have been positive. Some have been negative, but it’s comic book fans we’re talking about here. There’s also the matter of some Marvel Cinematic Universe fans being overly critical of any type of news associated with the film, even going as far as launching a boycott for the film – simply because it’s not set in the MCU. While we haven’t been given a trailer for the Tom Hardy…

The first look at Tom Hardy as Venom in the upcoming Venom movie has leaked online – and I have to say, as a long time fan of the Marvel character, it looks pretty awesome! I was pretty worried by the initial first trailer for the film, but I can now say that I’m a lot less worried. Given this is Sony, you can’t ever tell, but I’m now more excited for this one. Check out the leaked footage below: First look at Tom Hardy as Venom in the new #VenomMovie! pic.twitter.com/gfMLgfgldk — The Comics Bolt ⚡ (@ComicsBolt) April 23,…

*Update* The majority of this story has been removed at the request of Universal Studios. Some of it still remains as presented, but plot details for the Halloween movie have been taken down. The test screening appears to have featured a very rough cut of the film and shouldn’t be judged in the way that the final cut will be, which is apparently great, according to recent footage reactions.  I’ll tread very lightly with this next story regarding the new Halloween movie. Some outlets have reported on a recent test screening of the film, and have been forced to take…

Moon Knight is a character that many Marvel fans have been wondering about ever since the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s inception. Obviously, the Netflix Universe would probably be a perfect fit for the character, since it would be pretty dark (especially if they went with storylines from the more recent comics). There hadn’t really been much said about his involvement in any future projects – until now. Kevin Feige recently spoke to Screen Rant about whether or not Moon Knight was in future plans – and he had a somewhat surprising answer: “Yes. Does that mean five years from now, 10…

Yesterday, an interview with James Cameron surfaced in which the director revealed that he’s a fan of the MCU, but is hoping for Avengers fatigue sometime soon – because he believes there are more stories to tell outside of comic book films. The exact quote of Cameron, was: “I’m hoping we’ll start getting Avengers fatigue here pretty soon. Not that I don’t love the movies. It’s just, come on guys, there are other stories to tell besides hyper-gonadal males without families doing death-defying things for two hours and wrecking cities in the process. It’s like, oy!” Kevin Feige was asked about the comments,…

Normally, when a highly anticipated release is about to be released (or recently released), we compile a list of reviews from all of the notable sources in the industry that have reviewed the film. In the case of Deep Blue Sea 2, no outlets have really reviewed the film. I’m not even sure most people are aware that the movie even exists – though buzz seemed to be pretty high on social media. On Rotten Tomatoes, there’s only one review for the film, which is summarized as: Deep Blue Sea 2 is a wet, coarse fin slap to the face…

In news that most horror fans have been expecting for a while now, or at least bracing themselves for, Ash vs. Evil Dead has officially been cancelled after three seasons. Ratings for the show simply weren’t very good as of late. As THR reports, the April 29th episode will be the series finale, as Starz has decided not to renew the series. The plot of the finale, reads: “The series finale, airing April 29 at 9 p.m., will see the Ghostbeaters put to the ultimate test to defeat a global demon infestation whose epicenter is Elk Grove as Ash and…

Yesterday saw the reveal of Michael Myers’ new mask in the upcoming Halloween movie. Reactions to it were mostly positive, and now buzz for the film seems to be very high – at least until the trailer comes out, that is. Back in November, a very bizarre report came to light with actress Allison Mack, most famously known for her role as Chloe Sullivan on the Smallville series. She had been accused of being a high-level recruiter in an abusive sex cult, and that she also served as a key spokesperson for the group as well. Things have taken an even darker turn now, as according to NY Daily News, Mack has been arrested for her connection: Allison Mack, the “Smallville” actress connected to alleged cult leader Keith Raniere, has been arrested according to court sources. Details on the arrest were not…
