The first trailer for The First Purge has arrived – and fans of the other films in the franchise are sure to be pleased. It teases the origin story behind the first film, and features elements from the other films as well. Some fans might not be excited with the ultra-political route the film seems to be taking – but we already knew this was the case with first images from the film that mocked Donald Trump. Check out the trailer below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UL29y0ah92w A new poster was released as well: #TheFirstPurge. In theaters July 4. pic.twitter.com/yWqXnTpxlf — The First Purge…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a massive success – and a lot of it’s success can be attributed to Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Iron Man. The first solo movie set the MCU on a path that has made billions of dollars, and set Marvel up for a future that looks more than a little bright at this point. So, it’s no surprise that on the actor’s birthday, The Russo Brothers (directors of Avengers: Infinity War) posted this message: Much love to @RobertDowneyJr on his b-day. pic.twitter.com/M5iRd7M8C4 — Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 4, 2018 In the film: An unprecedented…

A Black Widow solo movie has been rumored and talked about for years now. It was only just recently confirmed to be in development, but as to when we will see it is anyone’s guess at this point. If a new rumor is to be believed, however, we should be getting the Scarlett Johansson lead film very soon – as in with the next couple of years. According to MCU Cosmic: According to my source, the solo outing for Natasha is tentatively set as one of the MCU movies releasing in 2020. Marvel has set three movies for that year, and these are…

It’s been rumored for a while now that Woody Harrelson is playing Carnage in the upcoming Venom movie. While we don’t know for certain if that’s the case, it could make sense, given his prior crazy roles in films. For anyone who knows Carnage, they know that Cletus Kasady is an insane character, and there definitely shouldn’t be any holding back in a movie. Sure, the Spider-Man animated series was tame, but it got a lot of things right. If Venom is Rated-R, there’s no excuse. Word of the latest rumor apparently got to the co-creator of Carnage, David Michelinie, who…

Shazam! is an upcoming movie set in the DC Extended Universe (we think that’s what it’s called?!) so you should probably expect fans to be picky about everything. After all, this is a comic book movie. Zachary Levi has been spotted in various different set photos in costume, and while it’s hard to gauge what the suit will look like without post-production editing, we have a good idea. Personally, I think it’s good to wait to see the finished product. Some fans, however, aren’t as forgiving. In a recent Q & A session on Instagram, Levi was asked “Why the…

Doctor Strange 2 is a film that no one is really sure about at this point. It’ll probably happen, but who knows when that may be. The Marvel Cinematic Universe future is nothing but a bunch of questions, given the uncertain futures of major characters after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. When speaking about the upcoming sequel in a recent Q & A session, writer C. Robert Cargill had this to offer: “Marvel movies work in threes. They also work outside of their threes. Some of the better Marvel films have more than one villain in them. Me and Scott…

The latest Avengers: Infinity War TV spot is definitely an obvious advertisement – but still a pretty cool one. It’s from Quicken Loans, and even features a statement on the TV spot itself by fusing in obvious advertising (like we mentioned above) while still managing to speak about the Avengers: “By teaming up with Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, we are not only able to produce fun, energetic and creative content, but the campaign also provides Rocket Mortgage a strong opportunity to connect with current and future homebuyers. Rocket Mortgage is the best platform for consumers to be Super-Hero-level confident when buying…

It’s been rumored for a while now that Carnage will be played by Woody Harrelson in the upcoming Venom movie. It definitely makes sense, given Harrelson’s acting range, and the type of crazy acting it would take to bring Cletus Kasady to life on the big screen. The latest report comes from Bleeding Cool, which states: It’s not like it hasn’t been rumoured. It has. But Bleeding Cool has been told in a very confirm-y way that not only is Carnage to appear in the upcoming Venom movie but, yes, he will be played by Woody Harrelson. It’s not news that Carnage will…

Last month, a rumor surfaced that the upcoming Venom movie starring Tom Hardy wouldn’t feature much Venom at all. It wasn’t all that surprising of a rumor, given the lack of the title character in the film’s first trailer. Hardy himself quickly debunked that rumor, and now, we may actually have our first look at the character – thanks to a possible leak on Tumblr. While we don’t know if it’s official or not, the eyes featured in the design are similar to the eyes in the at the end of the trailer we saw. http://bizarnage.tumblr.com/post/172488587935/a-product-listing-for-a-promotional-brisk-iced-tea If this is the…
