Comic fans were excited to find out that Baron Zemo was going to be the primary villain in Captain America: Civil War. He’s quite diabolical in the comics, so he was sure to be a thorn in the side of the Avengers in the midst of their infighting. However, he ended up having a very different look in the film than he did on the page, leaving some comic fans understandably disappointed. But, as it turns out, there was a valid reason for the change. In the comics, Zemo wears black tactical gear, and a purple mask which hides his…

When wrestling icon Goldberg was added to the video game WWE 2K17 a few months ago, it started a lot of head scratching. Most of his legendary career took place in rival promotion WCW, with only a short stint in the ‘E before retiring in 2004. His last match was at WrestleMania 20. So what’s the point if adding him now? Unless………. We all know that wrestling retirements are about as permanent as soap opera deaths. So the rumor mill started up, and it hasn’t stopped since. In fact, the flames have only been fanned by both Goldberg himself, and…

Justice League director Zack Snyder has shared behind the scenes footage from the film’s London set, and there are some pretty cool tidbits included. In a shot that’s destined for the gag reel, Aquaman actor Jason Momoa messes up twirling his spear before pulling Wonder Woman’s sword from its sheath, cracking everyone up. Brief shots of Flash and Cyborg are seen as well. We also get a look at Batman, aka Ben Affleck, working behind the camera, sharing some of his directing expertise with Snyder. The announcement of a movie about the tragic demise of the Chris Benoit family, Crossface, has many of us remembering the grim circumstances of the shocking and horrifying murder-suicide case. I recently wrote an article rehashing the details of the chilling crime, some of the prevalent theories about the whys and hows of the case, and the mysterious unanswered questions that still remain, more than nine years later. Now we can add one more theory to the pile. Former WWE wrestler Rene Dupree, a two-time tag team champion and the youngest athlete ever to win a WWE belt, has…

We’ve been waiting for some time now to hear who will next portray James Bond, in the iconic character’s 25th cinematic outing. Several names have been tossed around, including Idris Elba (my personal favorite) and Tom Hiddleston more recently (make him Elba’s villain!). But no official announcement has been made yet. The series’ producers, quite stubbornly, are still holding out for Daniel Craig. EP Callum McDougall told BBC: We love Daniel. We would love for Daniel to return as Bond. Without any question, he is absolutely Michael G. Wilson’s and Barbara Broccoli’s first choice. I know they’re hoping for him…

Those of you who think that Marvel gets too much critical acclaim, and are given a free pass for plot holes and inconsistencies……..you’re gonna love this one. Captain America: Civil War was a huge hit – in fact, it’s the highest grossing movie of the year so far. But that doesn’t mean it’s without flaw. Even I, as much as I loved it, can admit that there were a few head-scratching moments. For example, if the red book contained the secret code words necessary to turn Bucky in the Winter Soldier, and it wasn’t found until now………how the hell was…
