It’s been speculated by some that Richard E. Grant will play Mr. Sinister in Wolverine 3 – and that now appears to be the case.
A quick glance at the IMDb page for the upcoming Wolverine sequel lists the actor as the one playing the character:
While this hasn’t been officially confirmed by 20th Century Fox yet, it certainly makes sense – as he definitely has the look for the character. We’ll classify this one as a rumor for now until it’s confirmed, but that should be happening sometime very soon.
The film will be Hugh Jackman’s last outing as the iconic Marvel character and it’s reportedly shooting for an R-Rating – as well as taking heavy inspiration from the Old Man Logan comic. Obviously, due to the rights situation with certain characters, they can’t faithfully adapt the comic from the pages to the screen.
Patrick Stewart is also in the film.
Wolverine 3 hits theaters March 3rd, 2017.
