In a recent interview, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos said that pretty soon, we’ll be guaranteed a new Marvel series twice a year:

“I think ideally there will be a rhythm of about every six months you’ll get a new season or a new series from the Defenders group. And then they’ll crossover into a combined [Defenders] season once we’ve launched the first season of each of the four characters.”

With Jessica Jones expected to arrive in the Fall and Luke Cage to begin shooting in early 2016, it’s interesting to see what Netflix and Marvel have in store for us.
