A new report about trouble with Josh Trank and Fox states that Trank was “destructive” on the set. According to Entertainment Weekly’s sources, anyway, who said the following:
Several high level sources close to Fantastic Four – spoken to independently of each other – have told EW the rift on set was not about creative differences but rather combative behavior Trank demonstrated toward the crew, producers, studio and even the stars. It’s partly linked to Trank’s personal disputes – involving accusations of deliberate damage done to the house he was renting – which sources say eventually manifested on set as hostility and frustration from Trank.
This could make sense because if you remember, Trank was removed from a Star Wars project after executives heard of his “on set antics”. It appears that there’s no end in sight for all of this Fantastic Four related news, with Trank and Fox seemingly going at one another.
