Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any worse for Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot – they have.

Fans have started a petition demanding that Fox return the Fantastic Four film rights back to Marvel Studios. Instead of giving Fox a chance to redeem itself with ‘Fantastic Four 2’, the petition says that the franchise should just quit while it’s behind.

While it seems unlikely that Fox will sell the rights back to Marvel, it’s certainly not impossible, given all the fan outrage and hatred of the reboot. Those dismal box office numbers and horrible reviews don’t help matters either.
