There have been rumors stating that The Joker might have a secret identity. A reddit user, recently started more speculation that The Joker used to be Robin in Batman v Superman.
While this is just speculation, there are similarities between the first image of The Joker that was released and the Robin costume in the trailer for Batman v Superman. The Joker has wounds in both of his shoulders and the costume of Robin seems to be torn at the same spot. Thus, fueling speculation that Jared Leto’s character was once Robin – until something awful happened and he became The Joker.
