Obviously, the Fantastic Four reboot had problems. I’ve done my fair share of reporting on the matter – but I felt like this story was way too interesting not to report.
According to BirthMoviesDeath, the original script for the Fantastic Four reboot had a very “Marvel Studios” feel to it and featured Mole Man, H.E.R.B.I.E., The FantastiCar and Galactus. It also featured way more action than the film that was released (not exactly hard to compete with).
What happened? Well, Simon Kinberg came on board the project and was asked to slash the budget and re-write the script.
