Actress Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) is said to be at the top of Marvel’s list to play Captain Marvel.
At least this is what Heroic Hollywood is reporting – but no confirmation has been made on whether or not Marvel Studios has actually made an offer.
As you all may remember, Ferguson was actually up for a role in the upcoming GAMBIT movie from Fox. She was set to play Belladonna but past in order to be in The Girl on the Train instead.
Ferguson had a breakout performance in MI: Rogue Nation, so it’s quite possible that Marvel took notice of that. Although a lot of fans wanted to see Ronda Rousey – a lot of fans didn’t – I’d like to know what you guys think of this – if it’s indeed true.
