Back before Age of Ultron was released, there was a rumor stating that Captain Marvel was supposed to show up at the end of the film. Well, that didn’t happen and Kevin Feige was asked about it. Here’s what he had to say:
“You may be alluding to a rumor about Captain Marvel showing up,” Feige said. “In one draft, we had her in there. But it didn’t seem appropriate to have this new person coming out of nowhere at the end of this story. It would’ve been a disservice to her; by the time this movie was coming out, people already knew that was coming anyway.”
So, there you have it. Maybe we’ll hear a namedrop in Civil War? Guess as always, we’ll have to just wait and see.
