While interviewing director Jon Watts about his upcoming Spider-Man reboot, Yahoo! asked him if Miles Morale would be appearing in the next Spider-Man film. He didn’t exactly deny it:
“I can’t talk about that, because, you know, that will reveal too much,” he says. “We’re still writing the story…we haven’t finished all the way through the story yet, so who knows.”
If they were to add Morales to the reboot, I’m sure some fans would be excited about it. However, I think it’s a long shot and don’t really see Marvel trying to establish Morales when they first have to establish Peter Parker and his family. We’ve seen the same story though in the previous Spider-Man films, so who knows what Marvel has up their sleeves?
For now, I’m filing this under doubtful.
