It looks like the Terminator franchise might actually be dead – and will not be back. Excuse the pun.
Following bad box office numbers and piss-poor reviews from fans and critics alike, Paramount has taken all of this into consideration and pulled the planned sequel for the film off of its release calendar. What did they replace it with? The upcoming Baywatch film with The Rock.
Obviously, the franchise will probably come back sooner or later with a reboot or remake down the line, but we saw how the Christian Bale led Terminator did. Maybe it’s best for the studio to just give the property a break for a while.
