Deadpool has debuted to an international total of about $260 million dollars – with $125 million from foreign markets and $135 million domestically.
Obviously, that means that Deadpool is a huge success. It had one of the most successful openings for a comic book movie ever and it is also already the second highest grossing R-rated comic film of all time. Already!
Other films opened this weekend such as Zoolander 2 and How To Be Single – but who actually watched those? I guess some did as Zoolander opened to $15.6 million and Single opened to $18.7 million. Pale in comparison to Deadpool.
