In 2011, Joshua James Shaw created concept art for Deadpool that director Tim Miller actually ended up using in a pitch to 20th Century Fox for the Deadpool film. As we showed you yesterday, he also did designs for Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Here’s what he said about Miller’s pitch:
“I was thinking about how enraging that Wolverine [X-Men Origins: Wolverine] movie was and I thought it would be funny to paint over one of their promo photos,” he wrote. “I believe Tim used this in one of his initial pitch packages.”
