Rumbles around Hollywood were showing that the candidates for a young Han Solo were on the horizon and now it’s official, thanks to Hollywood Reporter. The website tells us that Alden Ehrenreich, who came on the scene with The Cohen Brothers’ latest film Hail, Cesar!, has been chosen to play the young version of everybody’s favorite space smuggler.
The actor pretty much stole the film as Hobie Doyle and has the characteristics that would be needed as a young solo. We got our lead and we got directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller at the helm. Now, all we need is for the movie to start production so everyone can speculate on the story as we count down the days to release.
