Charlize Theron, known for her roles in Snow White and The Huntsman, its sequel, Mad Max: Fury Road, and A Million Ways to Die in the West, will play the antagonist in the latest installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise. Evidently the villain will be a Metallica fan. The F&F Twitter account posted a first look at her character, Cipher:

Not much is known about the baddie. With this being the eighth movie in, Theron will follow a long line of villains for the franchise; the most recent being Jason Statham. But if her track record tells you anything, especially with her role as Furiosa in Mad Max, and judging by the character’s taste in music, she’ll be just as bad-ass in this.
Fast 8 will race into theaters, April 14, 2017. The Rock, Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, and Tyrese Gibson will all reprise their roles. And besides Theron, we’ll also see newcomer Scott Eastwood.
