A clip of video from the set of Star Wars: Episode 8 has been released, giving us a bit of insight into where the story picks up.
Judging by the location and costumes, it appears that it will begin exactly where Episode 7 ended, with Rey finding the reclusive Luke Skywalker on a lonely mountaintop on the planet Ahch-To.
The last known Jedi is seen meditating on the rocky crag, his brown robes flowing in the breeze. According to makingstarwars.net, concept art indicates that, in Luke’s meditation trance, he sees the setting of twin suns – most likely, he is reminiscing about his long-ago life on Tatooine.
Daisy Ridley also released this picture on her Instagram page, teasing followers with the caption “Where could it be? What does it mean?”
It’s a small amount of information, but in this long wait for Episode 8’s release, we’ll take anything we can get! Does this peek into filming make you more excited for the next film? Tell us what you think!
