On July 19th, Evil Dead fans were treated to a new trailer for Season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead, and ironically enough the trailer was so violent it had been banned from Comic-Con.
And as you can see from the trailer below, it is quite violent, but that’s what Evil Dead is known for. It’s the last in a long line of exploitation horror that once thrived in the 1980s, and I’d say that’s something that should be respected. Of course, it also makes sense, given that 1980s horror was consistently banned and frowned upon. Some things never change, I guess.
