    Brie Larson Confirmed As CAPTAIN MARVEL

    Brie Larson has just been confirmed as Captain Marvel as SDCC! Just moments ago, Larson, who just this year won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the film Room walked onto the stage at Hall H in San Diego to be confirmed as taking on the role of the titular hero in the 2018 film, Captain Marvel:

    The role had been rumored a month or so back and now it’s official. A new logo was also released for the film:

    No other details were revealed at Marvel panel, including whether the character will appear before her solo film like Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War or whether we will be waiting another two years to see the character take flight.

    Captain Marvel hits theaters July 6th, 2018.
