Marvel has finally released one of the coolest tidbits from Comic-Con 2016 – the mockumentary featuring Thor and what he was up to during the events of Civil War!
In it, Thor is shown having all sorts of crazy “adventures” with his Thor: Ragnarok costar The Incredible Hulk at his side.
There’s also a little tease about a “purple guy who sits in a chair” aka Thanos, the epic villain from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
As far as sides for Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi revealed whose side he felt Thor would have joined:
“We’ve talked a little bit about this. Personally, I feel Thor would have started his own team. He wouldn’t have liked the idea of those teams. But, even though Thor is from outer space and he lives in a palace, part of me likes to think he would side with Cap. I would side with Cap purely because I don’t trust billionaires.”
Captain America: Civil War was definitely an interesting film, and would have been even more interesting had Thor been in it, but then again, we wouldn’t have had this hilarious short had he been involved.
The short will be released as a bonus feature for Captain America: Civil War when it hits home video formats on September 2, 2016.
