When Marvel took to the stage at San Diego Comic Con this July, they were unable to bring any footage from the currently filming Thor: Ragnarok, however they did bring something just as good, an exclusive look at what the titular hero was up to whilst Stark and Rogers were fighting it out in Captain America: Civil War. But now fans have decided that they want to see more of the Asgardian’s everyday life. Read on to find out more about Thor and his new roommate.
Before we get started, if you haven’t already seen the hilarious video directed by the film’s director Taiki Waititi you can check it out below.

Due to that video, one fan has taken it upon himself to attempt to bring Thor and Darryl’s everyday life to the small screen on the streaming service Netflix. Setting up a petition on Change.org, Ty Schmidt wrote:
As soon as I finished watching the short on YouTube, it brought a huge smile to me. I laughed throughout the entirety of the video. Soon after, I went into the comment section, and stumbled upon a comment that said ‘Can we start a petition for this to be a Netflix Series, and I thought to myself ‘I want this to be a thing too.’ And here we are. This show, if it were to actually happen, would be one of the funniest things I would have the pleasure of watching. Please make this a reality, it would make many fans, including myself, very happy.”
So far the petition sits at 1225 signatures with a goal of hitting 1500. Which it looks like it will hit before long. Based on the short alone, it’s something I would like to see continue. If not as a TV series, it could definitely be a contender should Marvel ever decide to revive the series of ‘One Shots’ they used to include on their Blu-Rays.
