As some of you are already well aware – Disney will be shutting down AVENGERS ALLIANCE on September 30th. It will no longer be available on Facebook or as a Mobile app.

Obviously, this was going to get a rise out of quite a few fans – and now a petition has been created on Change.org for Disney to keep the game – and reads as follows:

We have been playing and many of us paying  (buying gold) this game since its creation. We have invested a lot of time and energy in this game and simply put we do not want it shut down. Further many of us WILL NOT play any replacement game you try to throw at us. We enjoy this game and wish to keep playing it. It seems illogical for you to shut down a game that earns so much money and that is simply one of the most played apps on Facebook.

The petition isn’t really all that unreasonable. To shut down the game entirely seems a little extreme, given just how many people play it.
