Star Wars has evolved from a geek’s wet dream into a full blown cultural phenomenon. Think about it, Star Wars has been running on tilt as one of the only space adventures for the past 39 years. This is a huge achievement for any sort of franchise, let alone a sci-fi one. If any saga goes for this long, it will eventually make a couple cross steps into different territory. This new territory was tasted in the prequels to an extent but really and truly brought to light in the latest installment of The Force Awakens.
In The Force Awakens, we are introduced to a whole new and completely immersive world, something that fans all around the globe received extremely well. It was on the same wave lengths of the original Trilogy, but a hop, skip and a jump from the Prequels…
Alright, after all this squabbling about history, I think everyone can guess where I am going with this… Rogue One.
Rogue One started out as one of those off the wall ideas that eventually evolved into its own entity… And the fans cannot be more excited. So when the new story artwork got dropped into social media and across the net, fanboys across the world all had the same collective action from one image alone… Darth Vader.
Obviously, we all know and love (or hate) this character to its core. But the real thing most of us are all excited for is just to see him. I mean, we haven’t seen Vader in a very very long time, and to break through the thoughts of those more recent sequels into a true blue Star Wars movie… Actually correct me.. A Star Wars… Wait for it… Story.
