Thor: Ragnarok is still over a year away from being released however that’s not stopped fans from speculating what’s in store next for the son of Odin. We already know that the Hulk will play a big part in the movie and early on in the year some Planet Hulk rumors started to surface thanks to some big pieces of gladiator Armour at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Well, it now it seems as if Schmoes Know may have some more information as to which direction the story may be heading:

Well, apparently ‘Ragnarok‘ isn’t referring to a cataclysmic event but is in fact the name of a planet that Thor and Hulk find themselves stranded on. It’s here where the duo will have to fight for their freedom in the space gladiator pits which are controlled by none other than Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster. It’s also speculated that Valkyrie and Skurge the Executioner will be more portrayed more sympathetically in this incarnation and may assist in helping our heroes in their quest.

If this proves to be correct then it looks like those early rumors of them borrowing material from Planet Hulk may in fact be true after all!
