Over the last few days, we’ve received a lot of information about Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine. The title was revealed (Logan), a poster showing a child’s hand holding his was shared, a stark vision of a very old Professor Charles Xavier made the rounds, and now, we have a new image from the set.
An official Instagram account has been created for the film, and this picture was shared today, showing a bit of the reason this film will finally have the R-rating that Wolverine fans have been waiting 17 years for.

The chilling image shows a severed forearm, a pump-action shotgun still held in its lifeless hand. Who the bloody stump belongs to is anyone’s guess, but how it was removed is a foregone conclusion.
