Apparently, Alex Trebek has a very, very active social life and looks down on “nerds”.

Now, I don’t know that to be fact, but – you’d think that was the case after watching him bash a contestant on Jeopardy the other night.

Trebek was talking to Susan Cole of Bowie, Maryland, while she was doing her Jeopardy introduction. She said she likes Nerdcore, which confused the host:

It’s people who identify as nerdy, rapping about the things they love — video games, science fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners, you know, it’s really catchy and fun.”

He then responded with:

“Losers, in other words.”

Cole can’t be too upset, though, as the internet seems to be on her side and – she won the episode with $26,000. Not too shabby for being a “loser”.
