Theories are a big part of any major franchise, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is no different.
The whereabouts of the The Space Stone, Reality Stone, Power Stone, Mind Stone, Time Stone are all known. But The Soul Stone? That has been unknown.
That’s why reader Justine Ryne came up with an interesting theory about the Soul Stone, the last remaining Infinity Gem.
According to ComicBook.com, Ryne suggests the stone is with Heimdall:
“In Norse mythology, Odin gives him his sight. Heimdals eyes are orange. In Thor: The Dark World, he is quoted saying he can see all the souls in the nine realms. And in Thor’s vision in Age of Ultron, Heimdal is blind. Thanos could have taken the stone from his eyes. It all fits.”
Unfortunately it still might not make sense why there’d be two stones in the same place. Although we’ll have a few potential movies to explain the stone and introduce it with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, and perhaps even Avengers: Infinity War.
