BATMAN To Crossover With STAR WARS?

    By Jonathan EdwardsDecember 5, 2016

It’s no secret that Zack Snyder is a huge Star Wars fan – after his playful interactions with J.J. Abrams a couple of year ago. As some of you may remember, during the filming of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, both directors engaged in some playful banter which consisted of various mock ups and fun images for all to see, one of which consisted of C-3PO dressed as Batman.

Then there was the ‘incident’ where a lone Stormtrooper was arrested next to the Batmobile. It was every nerds dream to see two franchises being made at the same time, with both directors constantly going back and forth with all sorts of mash ups.

Well now it seems as if Snyder is at it again as he recently shared an image on the social networking site Vero – where Batman is wielding a lightsaber, which we all know makes anyone look infinitely more cool.

    Check it out below:

As you can see, that’s no normal lightsaber that the Dark Knight is holding as it’s non-other than Darth Mauls infamous double ended weapon.

With Rogue One drawing closer, it seems as if Snyder isn’t able to contain his excitement. With rumors circulating that the new Justice League trailer will be attached to Rogue One, there might be a little more substance behind Zack Snyder’s hype than just pure fanboy admiration.

Are you excited for Rogue One? Would you like to see Zack Snyder direct a Star Wars movie In the future? Or do you think he should helm more DC movies? Sound off down below!
