Vincent D’Onofrio’s portrayal of the villainous kingpin Wilson Fisk has become one of the most beloved across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His presence is absolutely phenomenal whenever he’s onscreen, and fans can’t seem to get enough.
That’s why he’s been asked by one fan on Twitter whether or not he’ll be starring on the Defenders miniseries – an upcoming Netflix crossover set to feature Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
Unfortunately the actor replied with a big fat “no chance” that he’ll be appearing.

And despite the comics having introduced Wilson Fisk as a Spider-Man villain, when D’Onofrio was asked about showing up in any of the upcoming Spider-Man films, he could only answer with “nope”. So it seems we won’t be having Mr. Fisk there, either:

The actor then explains that although it is possible for him to appear in other parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s unlikely given the amount of parts given to other characters.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7, 2017.
