The Marvel brand is soaring higher than ever, with their success in film making them a known force. It looks like that brand is going to continue to grow, as they are now dipping more substantially into the gaming market.
In a multi-game partnership with Square Enix, Marvel has announced that this first game in the partnership will be an Avengers game.
This partnership is a very exciting deal, as we have seen less and less Marvel games over recent years. Aside from the Lego series and a few other phone games, the brand hasn’t been explored as much in gaming.

My hope is that this crossover into gaming is a successful one. Everyone was all excited about the Star Wars Battlefront game, but it was sadly plagued by a lack of single player and other features. While the concept does sound great on paper, lets hope that the developers are able to explore the Marvel brand in the best possible way.
