Joe Manganiello Tweets New DEATHSTROKE Picture

Deathstroke looks pretty awesome in this new picture that Joe Manganiello tweeted.

Remember Ben Affleck’s Twitter post showing a clip of Deathstroke moving towards the camera? Not only that, but it was shared via all of Ben’s social media channels.

Just recently, actor Joe Manganiello tweeted some fan art of that very character which apparently confirms that clip to be an actual screen test of said character.

Thanks to @jeran_art for this awesome shot of me from the armor screen test.#DEATHSTROKE pic.twitter.com/1lEYLQ6vrc

The Internet went into a wondrous uproar in regards to Affleck’s post. This was a highly favored villain that has been most often seen on the CW’s Arrow TV show, played by Manu Bennett.

Bennett himself even joined in on the fray, having reacted to Manganiello’s casting of Deathstroke.

Ok if Joe is playing Deathstroke I'm gonna Magic Mike 🙂 https://t.co/cqs3Mv3RoZ

You have to wonder though, will Deathstroke/Slade Wilson appear in Justice League, The Batman (solo movie), and/or more of the DCEU flicks?

Zack Snyder will be directing the Justice League film and its sequel. There was even a tweet made by him, cosplaying the Dark Knight’s gauntlet. A close-up of some sketches on an electronic device shows a cartoon-like character of Deathstroke in the panels. The following hashtags posted by the director included “#JusticeLeague.”

This is telling as the tag ties into the Twitter posting and you may guess that Slade Wilson could make an appearance in at least the Justice League movie, but since the DCEU has its tentacles all over, there’s no telling where the DC Comics villain could pop up.
