Deadpool and Wolverine Retro Trailer: The Movie We NEED

With Hugh Jackman’s impending retirement as Wolverine, many fans (and Ryan Reynolds) are disheartened by the fact that we’ll never see the pair join forces on the big screen.

Now – thanks to a fan trailer for the fictional Deadpool and Wolverine, we get an idea of what it would look like.

The video itself comes courtesy of We Got This Covered and utilises footage from the previous film’s in the franchise to create a retro style trailer showing Reynolds’ Deadpool and Jackman’s Wolverine joining forces to bring down Mads Mikkelson’s Villainous Mr Sinister.

It would definitely be great to see the pair team-up given how well both of the actors embody their respective characters. It was initially believed that we would be seeing Mr Sinister appear in Jackman’s upcoming swansong as the character, Logan, but it appears that this isn’t the case.

Hopefully, the fan-favourite villain will make his debut some time in the near future, although give no his recent appearance in Doctor Strange, don’t expect him to be played by Mads Mikkelson.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

You can see Hugh Jackman don the claws one last time when Logan hits theaters March 3rd, whilst Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool sequel currently doesn’t have a release date.
