As of today, even my Grandma is rumored to be playing Cable. Various different actors ranging from Pierce Brosnan to Kyle Chandler have been rumored for the role, and it will never end until the official announcement comes – whenever that may be.
Well, now, in a bit of random information, Jeff Snieder, Editor-In-Cheif of The Tracking Board sent out a very strange tweet:
Will be interesting to see if Brad Pitt plays Cable. In meantime, sounds like Sony is working on a Spider-Man sequel https://t.co/FsCTxs30Dh

Brad Pitt as Cable? I mean – I’ve seen stranger things rumored before.
The stronger choice appears to be Pierce Brosnan, as reported earlier this year by Sneider:
“Justin can’t say anything, but, yeah, I’ve heard it’s going to him.”
As with all of this rumored stuff, we’ll have to take it with a grain of salt, because it could definitely be WAY off. I’d be very surprised to see someone like Brad Pitt play Cable, though. Just doesn’t seem right.
Russell Crowe expressed some interest last month, when he sent out the following tweet in response to Deadpool creator Rob Liefield:
