Josh Brolin Getting Ripped For Deadpool 2’s CABLE

    By James HaddenMay 15, 2017

For almost a year, fans were speculating about who would be donning the cybernetic arm as time travelling mutant, Cable, in the highly anticipated Deadpool sequel, with names ranging from David Harbour, Pierce Brosnan, Kyle Chandler and even Brad Pitt. This question was answered last month when Josh Brolin was announced as taking on the role. Some believed that Brolin didn’t have the build to play Cable, although some new pictures from the actors trading may turn those naysayers into believers. Read on to check out more.

The actor recently posted pictures to his official Instagram, showing him training for the role in Gold’s Gym. In the photos, you can clearly see changes the actor has made to his appearance – showing off a much larger bicep than he previously had.

You can check out the actor’s post below:

Cable’s coming, growing from the inside. Clean building from a past of donut travel to the present hard case that he is. No sugar. No bread. No pastas. The machine is being built. I’m pissed off. 😳 #cable #deadpool #ryanreynoldsismybitch #cleangrowth @justindlovato @iambuilt #fourweeksin

Based on his previous roles, Brolin definitely has the acting ability to play the formidable mutant and with him taking his training for the role so serious, there’s no doubt that he won’t be able to also look the part as well. Hopefully we will be given our first look at the character in costume sometime in the near future.

Deadpool 2 is set for release June 1st, 2018.

What do you think? Do you think Brolin can pull it off? Who would you liked to have seen? Let us know below!
