Mar-Vell Could Appear In CAPTAIN MARVEL

    By Jacob DresslerAugust 2, 2017

It’s already confirmed that actress Brie Larson will be portrayal Carol Danvers in Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel adaptation.

According to the MCU Exchange, it looks like another character is rumored to appear – a Kree warrior named Mar-Vell, who was the original holder of the title Captain Marvel.

According to the character’s description on Marvel.com,

“Mar-Vell was a white-skinned minority of the blue-skinned Kree empire, but despite discrimination and prejudice, Mar-Vell became a renowned soldier and an acclaimed hero for his victories in battle against the Kree’s enemies, notably the Skrulls.”

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how this character will interact with Carol Danvers, and what happened to either character since this is a prequel taking place in the 90s.

The film follows “an Air Force pilot who develops superhuman powers.”

Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019.
