Elizabeth Henstridge Wants To Be In BLACK WIDOW Movie

    By Trent ParsleyAugust 5, 2017

As far as the Marvel Television and Movies go, no one really knows if we will ever see a major crossover between the two.

When asked about this possibility at today’s Wizard World Columbus , Agents of SHIELD actress Elizabeth Henstridge definitely has one movie in mind – if it were possible:

“I want to be in the Black Widow movie.”

More specifically, she revealed that it’s very complicated:

“I don’t know. It’s such a boring answer, but time scale wise – they should those movies and then they’re out in 2-3 years and we shoot stuff that’s out in a couple of weeks. Would we keep [everything the same] for 3 years? You have to think about logistics. So, I don’t know but logistically, it’s tricky.”

As far as us ever getting a Black Widow movie, Scarlett Johansson had the following to say back in February when giving an update on the project:

“I’ve talked to Kevin Feige about it. We’re creatively really compatible.  I think we both agree that the character is right for a standalone, it’s just a case of timing at this point for both Marvel and myself.”

In May, Kevin Feige gave a pretty positive update:

“Of the characters that you’ve just mentioned I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow…We think she’s an amazing character. We think Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal of her is amazing. She’s a lead Avenger and has amazing stories in her own right to tell that we think would be fun to turn into a stand-alone franchise.”

Marvel knows what the fans want – hopefully we get it.
