Some pretty sad news surrounding Deadpool 2 was reported today, as stunt person, whose identity is being withheld at the moment, was killed on set:
A stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle. VPD & @WorkSafeBC investigators are at the scene.

Deadline.com reports that the stunt driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was a motocross rider who was doing her first film as a stunt performer.
It prompted Ryan Reynolds to release this statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning,” a 20th Century Fox spokesperson said Monday afternoon. “Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”
