‘Snake Outta Compton’ Trailer Is Just As Ridiculous As It Sounds

    By Jacob DresslerOctober 20, 2017
    Snake Outta Compton

An all-new movie in the vein of Sharknado is on the way, and it might be the biggest of its kind since. It’s all in the title of the film, cleverly (or maybe not so cleverly) titled Snake Outta Compton. It’s a name that just begs for attention, and it works.

Honestly I probably don’t even need to give any further information on the film because the name really says it all. It’s about a giant CGI snake of goofily bad proportions that’s probably only in the film for a handful of scenes.

But there’s more than just the monster that stands out from the trailers. It’s the bizarre cast of characters, especially one with an outrageous costume and even a golden AK-47.

Unfortunately these films have a strange way of being boring and dull, so let’s hope Snake Outta Compton truly delivers the goods. It’s unfortunate they didn’t manage to get an iconic cult actor to play a role or even cameo in the film. One of my favorite things about the last two Lake Placid films is that they actually managed to get A Nightmare on Elm Street star Robert Englund to play in them. It certainly makes the outrageous, slow plots more endurable.

But hopefully the plot they’ve come up with will work as well:

A rap group on the verge of signing their first record deal is the city’s only hope in a battle with a giant mutating snake monster.

The film stars Ricky Flowers Jr., Motown Maurice, and Donte Essien.

Snake Outta Compton is slithering towards a summer 2018 release date.
