Iron Man And Thanos Battle In Newly Released ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Scene

Avengers: Infinity War featured many memorable moments, and one of them was when Iron Man was going up against Thanos on Titan. Like many fans, I thought that the moment could very well be the end for the beloved Tony Stark character, but that wasn’t the case – as we all ultimately saw. Stark ended up paying quite the price though, as Thanos’ plan was successfully executed.

Now that the film has been released digitally, some of the scenes are starting to end up on the internet, and for those of you wanting to re-watch this scene – we have it for you below:

Another interesting bit of information revealed in that scene was when Thanos revealed that he knew who Tony Stark was. The Russo Brothers revealed how he knew:

“[He’s] aware of Stark from the original Battle of New York as the person who undid the plan.”

He added:

“The journey that Tony’s been on as a genius scientist is that the evolution of his armor. This is the best it’s ever gonna get for Tony and it’s nanotech. He goes to the cutting edge of what his mind can deliver, and it still is not enough to beat Thanos. In fact, it barely keeps him in the fight.”

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe film,

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
