IT: Chapter 2 is one of the most anticipated horror films of the year. The first film was a massive success and it’s no doubt that the sequel will follow in its footsteps. Of course, now brings the question – “When will the film’s promotion start?” The answer is very soon.
Producer Barbara Muschietti already teased that we could expect a trailer for IT: Chapter 2 coming soon. And although it was a vague suggestion, it did have plenty of merit considering the film comes out this September. It was a no-brainer that a trailer was on the way and now we know that it will premiere this Thursday.
The announcement of the trailer was revealed by a digital billboard which teased the release date, and now fans can get excited for their first glance at IT: Chapter 2 – followed by official teasers that even include witnessing “the end of IT”.

In the new film which will be directed by Andy Muschietti…
“Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT: Chapter Two brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.”
The movie looks like it’ll be a huge success with horror fans, especially given that actress Jessica Chastain has stated she believes it’s the most blood ever used in a horror movie:
“I’m gonna say something and I think I’m gonna be in trouble but I’m gonna do it. It might be a spoiler, but in the movie there’s a scene that someone said on set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film in a scene.”
She added:
“The next day I was pulling [fake] blood out of my eyeballs.”
IT: Chapter 2 hits theaters on September 6, 2019
