‘Annabelle Comes Home’ New Trailer Is Here – And It’s Terrifying

The Conjuring series has been full of its respective highs and lows, with this year’s The Curse of La Llorona marking a new low for the series. Even with that disappointment, the upcoming Annabelle Comes Home could be one of the series’ strongest entries. Combining the Conjuring and Annabelle series into one, this movie has been built up as a culmination of the previous entries.

With the film’s release roughly a month away, Warner Brothers have released a new trailer for the upcoming horror film. Check it out along with the official synopsis:

“Annabelle Comes Home” is the third installment of New Line Cinema’s hugely successful “Annabelle” films starring the infamous sinister doll from the “Conjuring” universe. Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter of the “Annabelle” films, “IT” and “The Nun,” makes his directorial debut on the film, which is produced by Peter Safran (“Aquaman”), who has produced all the films in the “Conjuring” franchise, and “Conjuring” universe creator James Wan (“Aquaman”).

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

Compared to the previous marketing for this film, this trailer has impressed me the most. There is a lot more clarity as to the film’s tonal structure and plot, and with stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga involved, I am excited to see how this film turns out.
