Disney Plus Reportedly Removed Scheduled Gina Carano TV Appearance

Although Disney has controversially already fired actress Gina Carano from the production of The Mandalorian, in which she played the highly popular character Cara Dune, it looks like they’ve reportedly removed her from Disney Plus yet again. According to a new report, it seems Disney reportedly removed Gina Carano’s episode in a National Geographic series titled Running Wild with Bear Gryllis. The episode with Carano was already previously announced, and despite being scheduled to premiere on Disney Plus, they’ve since removed any listings of the new episode.

Not too much is known about the episode, but it apparently would have featured Gina Carano and Bear Gryllis visiting the Dolomites mountain range in Italy. What’s more, the actress further stated on her Twitter social media page that she “faced some fears” while shooting the episode. Unfortunately, because it looks like the final episode was removed, it doesn’t look like fans will be able to see what exactly the fears she faced were. After her removal from The Mandalorian, and now this, it definitely looks like Gina Carano is no longer being associated with Disney or its many properties in any way. This info comes via CinemaBlend.

With that being said, there still hasn’t been an official announcement from either Disney or National Geographic regarding the status of the episode. So this should be taken with a grain of salt. But considering the way they’ve originally responded to Gina Carano’s actions, and not only removed her from The Mandalorian, but also the merchandising and its spin-off Rangers of the New Republic – it definitely seems likely they’d just remove her Running Wild with Bear Gryllis episode too. Of course, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

This all follows after Gina Carano made a series of controversial posts on her social media. She posted a variety of opinions including anti-mask sentiments, and even posts regarding voter fraud conspiracies. These are only the tip of the iceberg for posts that got Carano in trouble.

Of course, fan support for her has continued to be strong, and the actress is currently making something of a comeback with The Daily Wire. So while Gina Carano might’ve been removed from Disney, she’s still working hard and we’ll probably continue to see plenty of her in the near future.
