Jared Leto’s ‘Morbius’ Receives His Full Vampire Form In Final Trailer

morbius final trailer

After a variety of unfortunate delays, the highly-anticipated Marvel superhero film Morbius will be arriving this April, courtesy of Sony. Now they’ve unleashed the final trailer for Morbius, which reveals the character in his full vampire form.

It’s an exciting trailer and one that makes the impending release date feel that much more real. Fans will finally see one of their favorite Marvel vampires on the big screen, and after the success of films like Venom and its sequel, this should be a great time for fans.

Here’s the final trailer for Morbius:

While plenty of the footage in the new trailer has been shown in other trailers, we have plenty of new clips as well. This includes new footage of Michael Keaton’s character, which is presumably a reprisal of his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, it’s unknown if this is merely a variant of that universe’s version, or some other kind of Multiversal twist. In any case, it’s great to see the character and it looks like he’ll be playing a much larger part than previously expected. Marvel and Sony have been building up quite a fascinating take on Spider-Man and his many villains, so hopefully this film will act as another piece of the puzzle and give us some new answers.

In the new film…

“Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed and transforms this healer into a hunter.”

Daniel Espinosa directed Morbius from a screenplay written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama.

Aside from the aforementioned Jared Leto, the confirmed cast for the film also includes Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.

The highly anticipated film Morbius will be hitting theaters on April 1, 2022.
