The 2022 horror film Speak No Evil, otherwise titled Gæsterne, is receiving a new take in the form of a remake from Blumhouse. As you can see below, the first trailer for Speak No Evil teases a horror movie that’s just as dark and brutal as its predecessor.

James McAvoy plays a demented doctor, and father, that in the trailer is revealed to be rather upset with his children. In fact, he becomes angry at them for how they choose to perform “Cotton Eyed Joe.” Of course, this is only one step into the dark territory that this film is no doubt headed.

In addition to McAvoy, the cast of the film also includes Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairy, Alix West Lefler, Aisling Franciosi, and Daniel Hough.
