Kevin Spacey has been facing a number of sexual misconduct allegations and legal issues for years now. Since 2017, he’s struggled to find work, having been “canceled” in Hollywood. Now, however, Hollywood celebrities Sharon Stone and Liam Neeson demand that it’s time for Hollywood to uncancel Kevin Spacey.
As shared by The Telegraph, both Stone and Neeson took the time to defend Spacey following the release of the British documentary “Spacey Unmasked” on Channel 4. The documentary followed the allegations against Spacey, and it was enough to prompt both Stone and Neeson to share their thoughts.
Here’s what Stone had to say on the matter:
“I can’t wait to see Kevin back at work. He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will,” she shared, nothing that it’s “terrible” for past aspiring actors for “blaming him for not being able to come to terms with themselves for using him.”
Liam Neeson shared in his own statement that he was “deeply saddened to learn of these accusations against” Spacey. He continued to share his thoughts on Spacey:
“Kevin is a good man and a man of character. He’s sensitive, articulate and non-judgmental, with a terrific sense of humor.” Neeson continues:
“He is also one of our finest artists in the theatre and on camera. Personally speaking, our industry needs him and misses him greatly.”

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey was recently found not guilty in a recent July 26, 2023 trial in the United Kingdom. Many of the chargers he faced were dismissed before or during the trial, leaving only nine charges which Spacey was not found guilty of. It’s certainly a step forward in Spacey’s attempt to clear his name, something he’s been adamant about since the allegations first surfaced in 2017.
